The Entrance Hall

  • Using the main doors to enter the hall.
  • Door is set either for manual or automatic opening
  • Entrance hall is a bright walk-through area leading to the corridor with inclusive toilets, and the fully fitted kitchen at the end of the corridor.

The Corridor

The Corridor

  • Through the door from the entrance hall is the corridor.
  • On the left are the fully inclusive male, female and disabled toilets (these also have a baby-changing station).
  • The corridor leads to the fully fitted and equipped kitchen, which has step-free access and a hob and work surface at wheelchair height. The kitchen is available for every booking.

The Main Hall

The Main Hall

  • The main hall demonstrates the versatility of the village hall.
  • The room divider separating the Rowley room from the Weighton room has been slid back, combining the two rooms to make the main hall
  • This is the largest configuration of 16.7 x 5.2 metres.
  • The hall has a wooden sprung floor with windows along one side.
  • Has access to the inclusive, fully-equipped kitchen.
  • Wide serving hatch.
  • Drop-down audio-screen with a projector mounted at ceiling height.
  • Wi-Fi is available.
  • A modular stage,
  • Tables and seating (approx sixty people with tables.

 

 

The Weighton Room

The Weighton Room: 9.2m X 5.2m

  • The largest single room in the hall,
  • Two entrance doors, the first is the step access from the entrance Hall (edge painted yellow). The second is the step-free access further along the corridor.
  • A double door serving hatch.
  • Audiovisual – screen and projector.
  • Wi-FI available throughout the hall.
  • Modular stage available on request.
  • Seating and tables available on request.
  • Wooden sprung floor.

The Rowley Room

The Rowley Room (7.5 m X 5.2 m)

  • The second half of the main hall, and when the room divider is pulled across,
  • Has access to the fully inclusive fitted kitchen,
  • Double-door serving hatch.
  • The modular stage, tables and seating.

 

The Hunsley Room.

The Hunsley Rooms.

  • Suitable for small meetings of up to eight people or as a breakout room from the larger rooms.
  •  Has iown entrance/exit to/from the hall.
  • The smaller room has a sink and tea or coffee-making facilities.
  • These rooms do not have direct access to the fully equipped kitchen.

To book your event, please use our online booking system:

Using the calendar, find your preferred date. Each day is split into three sessions. Choose your session or choose all day.
Complete the required information, along with any optional relevant information, for your booking.
This is then sent to Graeme Brackenbury, our booking secretary, who will approve your booking and confirm it by email

Booking Information

Please observe the following points, as they will help you and the unpaid volunteers who run the Hall.

  • Please ensure you have booked enough time to set up at the beginning and clear up after your event.
  • If you wish to cancel a booking, at least one week’s notice is required. Cancellations must be made in writing or email and sent to Graeme Brackenbury, our booking secretary, on mobile: 07771747888.
  • If you intend to use or sell alcohol, you will have to obtain a temporary licence. This can be obtained from The East Yorkshire Riding Council
